Artistic Director
Del Hubers, a native of Pipestone, MN, is in his 38th year of music education, the past 25 seasons as the 5th grade band director in the Brandon Valley School District. Prior to teaching in Brandon, he taught for 10 years in Chicago, IL, and 3 years in Chester, SD. He has experience in all facets of music education - from working with toddlers in the Kindermusik of Sioux Falls program, K-12 Choral music and grades 5-12 Instrumental music. He holds a BA Degree in Choral/Instrumental Music Education from Dordt University and a Masters Degree in Music Education from the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University. Besides teaching in the classroom setting, he has 39 years experience working with various choral groups, he has directed church choirs for a variety of denominations, served as Artistic Director for the international award-winning El Riad Shrine Men's Chorus for 19 seasons, Artistic Director for the Singing Boys of Sioux Falls for 9 seasons and founder/director of the Brandon Area Children's Chorus. He is thrilled to begin this new endeavor as Artistic Director of the Rainbow Chorus and looks forward to making music soon!
Executive Director
Beau McGregor was born and raised in Salem, SD. He attained his bachelors degree from South Dakota State University majoring in Advertising with a specialization in Public Relations. After college, Beau moved to Massachusetts where he got his associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Beau currently resides in Sioux Falls where he works as the Pyramid Model Implementation Specialist for the early childhood classrooms in the Sioux Falls School District.
One night while singing karaoke with friends at Club David, the idea for the Rainbow Chorus of Sioux Falls came into fruition. Beau is thrilled to help manage the day-to-day operations for the chorus, and making this dream into a reality.
